We are at Alberto's house. He allowed us to film the underground scenes in his ancient cellar: two rooms and stairs and corridors dug in the living rock of Civita Castellana, under his house. The tuff rock passages were so beautiful that we decided to add a battle that wasn't in the script. This was the first battle in the film and we were really proud and excited of the result! In the following days we cut like 5 minutes of battle for the film... After a couple of months we could see how ingenuous it looked and we re-cut it and saved something like 30 seconds. The smoke from our torches made the air really suffocating and invaded Albertos family house, so that his parents thought there was a fire...
