Lux Alibi 09 - Battle in Ugorn Canyon
One of the hardest ordeal of making Lux Alibi was definitely filming the battle in the Ugorn canyon: we spent 8 hours continuously in the icy water, with the wetsuit under our clothes!
One of the funniest moment was when some canyoners heard our screams and ran for help... and found us fighting among waterfalls :-)
It is really difficult to film in this conditions, and our camera was not waterproof!
Often it is impossible to climb up a waterfall when you are down; so there are scenes that you can shoot only once: if you don't get a good clip... Too bad.
After the waterfalls of the Ugorn canyon (Callora River) we went back to Corviano to film the exit from the canyon in a more calm and bucolic scenario.

Uder our clothes we have 5 mm full body wetsuit: we are on a mountain and the water is really cold.

Some of the "bad guys" abseil the rope without harness to make the scene more realistic. Reckless! :-)

The first part of the Callora canyon is almost dry, but offers a few nice spots.

Then, suddenly, all the water comes out from the underground.

Back to Corviano to film the exit from the Ugorn. We wanted a quieter location, and this little pond with the ruins of an ancient medieval mill was perfect.
