In the very north of Caprera there is this small cove. We are camping here for the night. Clouds are coming and the weather forecast for tomorrow are no good at all.

Lunch at 3 p.m. in the above said cove: we weren't able to find any good spot to land for the past 3 hours.

After lunch we start a new climbing raid. Our target are some weird fortress that we have seen from the sea.

These fortifications are older that the others: they were built for the First World War.
To conceal the buildings, they were made and covered of the local stone. The result is an amazing architecture. here some pictures...

The weather is getting worse, but at sunset the sun gets under the clouds and creates this strange coloured atmosphere. (Click on "Full size")

Our last dinner in this kayak trip: for tomorrow the wind will be stronger than 60 km/h and getting worse. We plan to get back to Sardinia following the sheltered side of Caprera.
